According to the programme released by the Public Relations Unit of the institution, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Esimone will make a wide broadcast of his achievements thus far on UNIZIK 94.1 FM Radio, the university’s campus radio at 10 am.
This will be followed by an Inter-denominational Service by noon at the University Auditorium.
There will be a Pioneer University Hall-of-Fame Honour and Award Ceremony scheduled to be held at the University Auditorium by 10 am on Tuesday, 5th December 2023, followed by the presentation of Prizes to the Best Graduating Students of the institution by 12noon.
A convocation lecture on the topic, ‘Mainstreaming Uncertainty’ will be delivered on Wednesday, December 6 2023 by 9 am at the University Auditorium by the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, CON, under the Chairmanship of Prof. Chinedu Nebo, Vice-Chancellor, University of the Niger, Umunya, Anambra State.
The Vice-Chancellor will commission completed projects at the Nnewi, Neni, and Agulu campuses early on Thursday, December 7 morning before the award of First Degrees which commences by 11 am at the Convocation Arena of the Awka Campus.
Then on Friday, December 8, the VC will commission completed projects at Awka Campus in the morning while awards of Higher Degrees, Honorary Degrees, and Installation of Emeritus Professors follow at the Convocation Arena from 11 am to climax events and activities of the 17th convocation ceremony.
